FENDER MAINTENANCE

Fender system or often called as marine fenders, are one of the must-have equipment in port/jetty. It is designed to keep both jetty structure and vessel safe, by functioning as a bumper.

QUICK RELEASE HOOK

A (quick) release hook maintenance is a device used to secure and release and maintanence a liferaft or rescue boat from a ship in case of an emergency. Release hooks are designed with safety as a top priority. They are equipped with mechanisms to ensure that lifeboats and rescue boats are securely held in place while the ship is at sea.

Mooring is a procedure to make fast the ship with a fixed or a floating object ( Jetty, pier, ship, barge, buoy etc.) to held them together for various cargo operations. In other words- securing or confining of vessel in a particular location.

Bollards are port devices for mooring ships at docks or devices for tying ropes to ships. Bollards are usually made of cast iron and are anchored/embedded in the dock foundation so that they are able to withstand the forces acting on the ship at the dock.
